What a great time to be a Garland Owl! We have over 240 athletes in the program and are looking to build on our success of the last 13 years. We've been to the playoffs 4 years in a row and 12 of the last 13 years. We have also won 10 District Championships in the last 12 years, including 3 of the last 4 years.

The 2005 Owls had the longest playoff run since 1999. We won 10 games for the fourth time in the last decade. Our record over the last four years is 36-11. We believe that we will have a team in 2007 that will “Hold the Torch” and maintain the tradition of excellence that has been established here at Garland High School.

Our offense will continue to be based out of a multiple Wing-T. We will use mis-direction, bootlegs, and play-action to keep the defense off balance. We will continue to get the ball to a lot of different players. Our goal is to have a big-play offense that is capable of scoring anywhere on the field!

Defensively, we will continue to play an aggressive, stunting style. We will play a lot of athletes and put them in position to make big plays. Our team is built on the foundation of playing great defense.

We win games on special teams. We will make things happen and utilize all of our players to win the kicking game! We will take calculated risks and play to win on special teams.

We have the greatest fans and support in the state! Our tradition and history are unmatched! Come on out to Williams Stadium and support the Owls!
