(AP) SOUTHLAKE Hal Wasson was picked Monday as the new coach at Southlake Carroll, which has a 79-1 record with four Texas Class 5A state championships over the past five seasons.Wasson replaces Todd Dodge, who made the rare jump to Division I-A last month when he was named head coach at North Texas. Dodge was 98-11 in seven seasons at Carroll. The Dragons beat Austin Westlake 43-29 in the Class 5A Division I state title game last month, their third straight state title and 48th consecutive victory.
